We need a complete logo and stationary (web site - next step) package for our consulting firm.

The firm name is WaterCooler101.

Mission: to transform workplace culture worldwide, one water cooler at a time.

a dispenser of cooled drinking water, typically used in office workplaces.

[as adj. ] informal denoting the type of informal conversation or socializing among office workers that takes place in the communal area in which such a dispenser is located : a water-cooler chat about the president.

(the above Oxford dictionary entry could possibly be used on one side of the business card)

What we do / A possible tag line is "Workplace Culture Specialists"

The firm is cheeky, fun and serious about results.

The logo and brand must communicate something other than a "CONSULTANT".

We are about bringing forth new paradigms in workplace culture and we hate being called a "consultant" (aka - old paradigm of inter-dependance etc)

We are a high end "consulting firm" that works with companies (from start up to fortune 500) in specific workplace culture initiatives that promote an environment of open, honest and accountable communication.

We are shifting the paradigm in which managers and employees work inside to a culture of freedom, self expression and power.

Our work is unique and is a "niche market" in the world and has global reach. We work with companies committed to tapping into the universal force of human potential.

Some of our key tenants are:

Without a future to live into as a company you are dead

here are a couple ideas that i have thought about

i like a "paper" theme - that incorporates a flip chart or notebook - writing uses brush strokes / markers as if written on a flip chart or chalkboard / free hand writing etc. (and i am not attached to this!)

The logo and brand we are after capture people's imagination and create a world in which people are transported from that which they THINK they are STUCK with (gossip, resignation, cynicism, resentment, drudgery) to a new world of workplace culture (power, freedom, self expression) - in other words - the brand must be transformational in how it communicates.

The logo should be able to stand alone and represent the brand.

Our website is also a key component of the business and will offer ongoing support and resources to the companies we engage with. The branding will be used for the web site www.watercooler101.com (not yet live).
