Although the makeover industry is generally more targeted to affluent, middle-aged women, over 30% of the audience is male. So with that in mind, the logo design should be either gender neutral, or have gender elements that would include both men and women.
One thing we do NOT want is for their to be a swoosh on one side of the letter X. Do a search for any corporate name that contains the word "Extreme" and you'll see exactly what we mean.
