LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Squiggle Event Studio is a boutique event planning and design company specializing in private and corporate hospitality surrounding the sports and entertainment industries. With the ability to craft an intimate social soiree or a full-scale product launch, the name Squiggle was chosen to represent this company because "squiggles" are fun, expressive, and no two squiggles are alike. That being said, we are in need of a vector-based logo to be used as the stamp of our brand on all marketing materials.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The ideal design would focus on the name Squiggle, with the words Event Studio in a smaller font. I also would like the signature squiggle logo itself to be separated from the name Squiggle because I would like to have the option to use a text-free mark when needed. I am not completely against seeing some options where the logo is incorporated into the business name, but it must be versatile, and again leave me the option of having a text-free signature "squiggle".
The font and colors should be clean/simple, strong, and stylish. They should also reflect our focus on creativity and design, but should not be overly feminine (or masculine, as this is a woman-owned company!) I would like to see a combination of no more than 3 colors. Please no pinks, black, or grey. I do like brown, blues (including navy), oranges, greens, golds, red and deep colors of purple. I know that leaves a large amount of possible combinations, but I'm excited to see what fresh and unique ideas your imagination can create!
The main use for the design is business cards, letterhead, and eventually, it will be put on a website.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our target market consists largely of corporate clients and professional sports organizations seeking to hire an outside contractor to design and produce a luxury hospitality event. However, we also look to attract individual clients who are hosting a private social function (think high-end after parties surrounding all-star games, the super bowl, and awards shows). This means that our market is not gender specific, but should appeal to ages roughly 25 - 65.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Just in looking at some of these designs, Im attracted to cocoa stuff, cafe melody, chillmango, 101 Princess St., fine liquor (very cool), and Viva.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
An original squiggle that is relatively fluid... No zig zag and nothing childish or too whimsical.
Also must have Squiggle as the dominant word, with Event Studio in a smaller text either under or next to Squiggle.
And as mentioned above, no pinks, blacks, or grey. Pastels should only be used if they are a compliment to a brighter, bolder color.
