LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Frastree is an engineering company that specialise in making aluminium, steel and UPVC windows for the UK commercial market. This is big stuff on big buildings.
They have just moved into a new factory and invested in state of the art equipment laser guided, computer controlled, etc.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
This is an open brief. No preference as to colour or style.
The design needs to reflect a mature company, secure in their expertise and well respected in their markets. A company on the move, but moving from solid foundations.
The logo needs to work on website, stationery, trucks and big temporary signs that hang on construction sites, so sizes from one inch to 12 yards (metres) wide.
The stationery set is the English model, so no envelopes.
Business card, letterhead, 1/3 A4 With Compliments slip. But for the purposes of this competition, a logo and letterhead will do.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Public and private sector specifiers in the construction industry.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
This is an open brief, but I would prefer not to see tricky stuff done with typography, like putting an arrow on the top of the letter F.
The logo should work as a stand-alone (in the way the Nike tick device can be stand-alone, or work with other elements.
Construction is a fairly macho industry, so maybe pastel shades might not work so well as primary colours, but if you feel they will please prove me wrong I am not a designer, you are.
Good luck, any questions, please PM me here.
