LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
I am a jewellery maker and sell my work under the business name Elvery. I have been making jewellery for 8 years and selling it for 6. During these Six years I have been concentrating my efforts on selling my jewellery at summer music and theatre festivals. My jewellery has been very well received, both by customers and show organizers, its strength and beauty allowing me to be accepted into some very sought after and hard to get into juried shows. Now I am moving to the next level and applying for larger indoor juried craft shows, which have proven to be more elusive to win accepance into. Whereas the summer festivals are more informal and a vendor will be accepted on the basis of his or her work alone, the indoor shows are much more formal events, where the organizers are looking for the "whole package": it is as much about the total presentation as the work itself, especially in a category like jewellery, which is by far the most competitive and over-ridden in terms of the sheer numbers of applicants. As for the beauty and craftsmanship of my jewellery, I am confident that it speaks for itself.
So now I need promotional materials that reflect the aesthetics of my jewellery and the vision that I have for my buisness; I am in need especially of a logo that that exudes a sense of quality, craftmanship, elegance, playfulness, and natural beauty; that will help me stand out from my competitors, and that will be used on my buisness card, banner for my booth, stamped on boxes, and utimately be on my website.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a logo, business card and banner.
The logo will appear on the buisness card and has to look good as a stamp, as I stamp the logo onto paper jewellery boxes.
The banner will be printed on a vinyl fabric and hung in a 10'x10' booth. It is to measure 22 inches by 8 ft. The logo is to appear on it, and I would like it to have a textured background.
Filigree is also a big part of my jewellery. Attached are some photos I have taken of the pieces I use. Feel free to use them for a background texture or part of the logo, whatever your inspired to do. Something nature-inspired might also be appropriate.
Be sure to look at the attached photos for inspiration!
P.s. This will lead to other work, I will need a website within the next 6 months and maybe the odd flyer made.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
My target audience is women of all ages, but mostly ages 20-60, as well as men buying jewellery for the women in their lives. They are not your typical mainstream people; they have an eye for unique and beautiful things. They are women who want to stand out in an elegant and sometimes playful way. They value quality. They range from earthy elegant to power suit women.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I really like my existing card, I like the color, graphic on the sides and the general composition; however, there is no recognizable logo and the font doesnt quite fit.
I like www.vintaj.com s website, I use some of their line to create my jewellery.
I love the flowery/scrolly design coming out of the K. Don't like the black and white and not crazy about the font, although it works as a whole.
I like this font for it's handmade/nature inspired look.
I like the general look and feel of these:

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The E in Elvery must be capital. I really like the plum color in my existing card (see photo), but I am open to other colors, however, they must be earthy/rich colors. There also must be contrast between the background and letters, as you will need to see it from far away.
The banner/ logo should have a version where it says Jewellery by Jilleen Meckling underneath, as well as a version that says Jewellery by Jilleen Jones (I am getting married next year).
Also, the banner and card should have a background texture, something nature-inspired or it could be the profile of some of the filigree that I use. I am open to whatever you create.
THINGS WE DON'T LIKE:
Bright primary colors
Dragonflies or butterflies (They appear in a lot of my work, but I dont want them to represent my work as a whole)
Sacred geometry/new age type symbols
