LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Doctr.com is a new pharmaindustry-independent Health 2.0/eHealth website for medical doctors in Germany.

The company is founded and managed by doctors and Coders and is located in Berlin

We try to leverage some of the possibilities of the internet to improve the communication between doctor and patients.

The current design of the website is going to be entirely overhauled soon,

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

The new logo should have a modern feel, without being too playful. It must reflect our professionel approach, by being simple, clean and crisp and easy to read and easy to be used for print and clothing etc. as well.

In terms of fond, we like clean, modern, round, serif-less fonds.

In terms of colourpalette, we would like to NOT use a lot of blue and green, which are used by all Competitiors with medicine related websites.

One possibility would be a burnt orange tone for the graphic element, and a darker colour for the textpart to be easily readable on white background,

The logo should include:

-The written domain name doctr.com

-The tag line Best Praxis

-A really cool and fresh, creative, graphical element that cleary communicates the relation of our company to Medicine and Health Care.

One possibility would be an ABSTRACT, 3D variation of the picture of the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo. Attached are a few drafts, that were not completely convincing to us, because the graphic was not creative and abstract enough and/or was not refined enough so that the origin of the graphic (Viruvian Man) was not realy recognicable.

We know, this is not easy, but what is important to us is the logo to have a recognicable resemblance with a symbol that has a strong connection to Medicine and Health Care and still be modern and abstract. However this is how our company is, since we come out of traditional Health Care and want to truly unique, inovative and great new product that could change and improve the Healthcare system substantialy.

Consider to use some GRADIENTS

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

The core product is a a highly secure videoconferencing tool to allow for online-consultation between doctors and patients. Both target groups, doctors and patients, need to be adressed by the website and the brand.

The company distinguishs itself from competitors by being founded and managed by medical doctors and IT security specialists/hackers instead of Marketing/Business people. We want to emphasice both, the high security background and the professional/medial background of our company and still convey a young, fresh, modern and creative start-up image.
