LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a start-up buy and build company providing consulting, commercial services and brand management for the travel and hospitality industry. We are an independent, innovative company that will form the foundation for a group of companies, which will operate globally.
The full company name is PACE Hospitality Limited but we anticipate that the company will be widely known as PACE. The word PACE is an acronym for Performance And Competitive Edge. The key values we are trying communicate are:
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a full corporate identity developed including a company logo, business card, letterhead, envelopes. The identity must work in digital format (for email, PowerPoint, websites etc) and in paper format and should also have options to be executed in black & white/monochrome. The design needs to work in small and large formats and should have alternatives for vertical and horizontal execution if necessary.
The design may include the word PACE and optionally could include Hospitality or Hospitality Limited. Equally, the design material could include reference to the tag line Performance And Competitive Edge.
We must have full and exclusive license to use the logo and design for an unlimited time period.
The output formats we require need to support on and offline media and be used in high quality print. (EPS, PSD, Vector and JPG). Any other commonly used formats should also be provided.
We also need a recommendation for a corporate font to be used with the identity. The font must be widely available in commonly used applications (eg MS Word etc)
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our primary customers are small to medium sized hotel chains, independent hotels and other travel and hospitality industry companies. We generally operate at CEO and/or board level and also with the investor community with our engagements, so we need to convey sufficient gravitas. Our services are commercial, marketing or technology based and our customers buy from us because of our experience and knowledge in the industry.

We like clear, un-fussy, straightforward design and the words which describe the values we are trying to communicate are: High quality, professional, innovative, leading edge, hospitality, commercial, smart. The design and colours must be applicable for use in a global market place.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
No specific must-haves. It is important that there is scope to use the design outside of the hospitality industry, should the company diversify. This would prevent the use of overt hotel imagery.
