LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a franchise conference & workshop event where franchisors, franchisees and sophisticated investors can go to hear directly from industry thought leaders of the world. This franchise event will take place in Mexico. There are other franchise events but the innovation here is that we are going to invite successful international franchisors like SUBWAY and WENDYS as keynote speakers.
This is a first time event and we are looking for a distinctive logo, business card and stationary that will set the tone and look for our site. Site development will be a separate process.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The logo should look superior in both white and black backgrounds. A distinguished logo will help give our franchise event a visual identity and give us a general look and feel that we have the most important people in the franchise industry around the world.
We are not set on a specific color or image; however, avoid using the colors yellow, green, blue and orange. The logo can contain a symbol and letters or just letters.
Although, the franchise industry is mostly conservative, we want to be on the cutting edge and we strive to be progressive and revolutionary in our thinking. We desire a look that will set us apart, while still pleasing to the eye, clean, elegant, enduring and trustworthy.
Since we are doing the event in Mexico we would like to have a Mexican aspect related to the Mayan culture as the Mayan calendar and/or the encryption on the Mayan pyramids like words on stone with a business symbol, but with a Mayan symbol style (an actual Mayan symbol can be used or created). Logo should not be overly detailed. If symbols are used, I'd like them to just be used as subtle hints for what the business is about. Please AVOID ANY OTHER MEXICAN ASPECTS as color of the flag, the Mexican shield, characters or people. Although we are open to other suggestions considering the concepts of clean, elegant, upscale, trustworthy and enduring even without Mexican aspects.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
1. People who started a business and they grew it as a franchise (franchisors).
2. People who invested and operate a franchise (franchisees).
3. People interested to invest into a franchise (investors).
Consider the target audience is majority male, early middle aged, mostly conservative, yet innovative.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
FRANCARIA (This is the name of the event)
Conference, workshops & more (this is the tagline. The actual words may change, but we would like to see how a tagline could be used with a logo.)
Don't want the logo to be too detailed though. If symbols are used, I'd like them to just be used as subtle hints for what the event is about.
We want to avoid an ultra conservative corporate logo. Instead, we want a professional look that is simple and clean, yet the logo needs to be unique and distinctive in order to Trademark.
