Target Audience
What is your industry?
Education and Universities
Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery
Parents of high school students and the students themselves. Many of our clients come from Prep schools.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?
Our name is Compass-U. Currently the brochures use the "Clarity" color palette from Word templates, and I'm very happy with the calm feel that this conveys. The "U" in the name is in currently in orange in the company name and throughout the brochure. The "U" ties into University, but it also is meant to convey that the unique student needs to bring their best, authentic self to the application process.
Style and Concept
What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
The logo could be a compass with a "u" in the middle, I have a few sketches of this from a friend. I envision a compass outline with the u in the signature color in the middle.
Another idea is to have the logo and Compass-U (larger on top) then Educational Consulting, LLC smaller font along the bottom.
What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?
As I mentioned above the Word template "Clarity" palette is what I'm drawn to.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?
Garish, bright.
What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?
Calming, confident, accessible, authoritative.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Both
Do you have additional info or links you want to share?
Compass-U does have a Facebook page, but it is in its early stages.
