Who are you?
We are a web-based company building a new brand for a site devoted to generating traffic for Bankruptcy / Insolvency Trustees (professionals who help people who are or may go bankrupt). We are building a brand new site and have no previous brand identity to work off or be associated with.
We are a very caring , compassionate and professional group of business partners who wish to reach people before they go bankrupt - or as they go bankrupt to help them through the process. We intend to build a network of trusted bankruptcy professionals across Canada. Other bankruptcy practices will pay us for the traffic we bring to them through our site.
What do you need?
A brand identity and a blog banner design:
The visual identity (brand logo) must convey :
-friendliness/approachable (think how dentists brand themselves as a happy, cheerful, pain-free place - it's a little different here but it's worth thinking about)
-dedication to service
Having a distinctive / iconic look would also help.
Our business is Canadian and anything that helped to convey that might also help.
Who Is Your Audience?
Three main groups (in order of importance) :
1) [clients] People going bankrupt. People with severe debt issues. People who need to know more about what bankruptcy involves.
Clients are usually very fearful of the process they face - our visual identity needs to balance professionalism and approachability.
2) [other professionals] Bankruptcy Trustees across Canada. Debt counselors; lawyers; bank/ loan managers or other professionals that the client may meet during their financial difficulties.
3) [Other web marketing professionals] potential link partners for the site; anyone searching for 'content'/information on the topic of bankruptcy / insolvency.
