LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a family owned company. Four siblings have purchased an abandoned mink farm in a rural area. We have turned it into a pretty cool place for small companies. Our clients are all craftsmen - a sawmill, 2 furniture makers, a solar company and a millwright. They have pretty dirty jobs and make a lot of noise and mess so we feel like they are in the perfect place to run their small businesses.( The biggest one has 3 employees) We are trying to get all our tenants and future tenants - we still have a lot of room as the old farm has 27,000 sq ft of space - to think of our complex as one destination. We have come up with the name "Bloomfield Industrial Arts" and we would like a logo for the property. We view it as a great place for a start-up in the craftsmen/industrial arts type fields. We try and provide what they do need - space and the ability to make noise and spread out and not the things they dont need. We have a "common area" which we have set up for the guys so they can meet with customers/clients over a cup of coffee and spread out blueprints etc. Its also a nice place to get out of their shops. We are thinking that a logo is our next step in turning the "old mink farm" into something new. We view Bloomfield Industrial Arts as a great place to run a small company and want it to become its own destination and think a logo will really help. It seem like there are all kinds of "incubators" for small tech companies but what about guys like ours?
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
a logo for Bloomfield Industrial Arts which we will use on a sign, letterhead, coffee cups and someday a website
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
craftsmen and their customers
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
not sure - I like old style or old school looking signs like maybe from the old works progress administration posters. Or the "average joe's " logo from the movie "Dodgeball"
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
we would like an industrial type feel rather than a high tech look
