LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
beanstalk is a company that converts small to medium sized businesses to a cloud based technology model. The goal of beanstalk is to provide technology services as a utility (i.e. the customer sees his IT needs in the same light as his electricity needs). We remove the necessity for the customer to have technical knowledge and allow them to refocus their efforts on the core of their business - we let them get back to doing what they do best. We give them a way to get out of the "part-time IT guy" business.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need to have a complete branding for this new company. We need a logo, business card design, and stationary design. The stationary should include a PowerPoint template. We are technologists, not graphic designers, so we will use the logo design to create our website. The designs will be used in all areas of the business.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our audience is the small to medium sized company with 10 to 100 employees. They can be in any industry. They should have a general desire to remove IT from their to do lists. We want them to see beanstalk as a way to refocus their efforts to their business - not keeping up with software updates, managing databases, securing databases, or running the multitude of user permissions. We want people to associate beanstalk with the Jack and the Beanstalk story: the company plants a seed (beanstalk), it grows into a beanstalk, they climb the beanstalk into the cloud where they walk alongside the other giants of industry.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Simple is good. The branding needs to convey simplicity above all else. Converting to beanstalk will make their business operations simpler. We like Myriad Pro font, and we like green and blue. But we are open to other ideas.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
We are open to different displays of our name beanstalk. You'll notice that throughout this document, we've had beanstalk in all lowercase letters. But it could be - beanSTALK, Beanstalk, beansTALK, etc.
