LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We are two young Miami professionals who are starting a comprehensive, personalized matching service utilizing the expertise of a clinical psychologist in the evaluation and selection process. We are hoping to provide a local but high-end service and to put a new spin to an old business - matchmaking. We are passionate about helping people find a lasting love. We want to work with people in a way that's discrete and compassionate but also in a way that helps them learn about themselves. We only want to work with clients who are serious about overcoming obstacles and not repeating past mistakes.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

Please oh please some swell logotype with image and collateral material to launch our biz!

The company name is At Last. The domain is affinityatlast.com.We want a logotype and an image we can use separate from our name. Something purely visual that then becomes the mark. Also,we want to include a tagline if that fits and can be incorporated. Some ideas for taglines we had are as follows:

At Last: empirical introductions

At Last: meet your match

At Last: love by design

At Last: the science of love

At Last: the match experts

So there are some ideas to work with.Choose whatever you like and you think works with the whole concept.

We want the logo to work well in black and white and not cost too much to print. We will use logo and stationery and business cards to market our services to prospective clients and to other professionals who will refer clients to us. The winning look will remain consistent throughout our stuff (brochures, cocktail napkins, etc) and when we do our website.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Our customers are single professionals, divorcees and widows/widowers, ages 30+, with disposable income who are searching for companionship.They are fearful of getting back into the dating scene and/or are fed up with internet dating.We want to appeal to clients gay and straight. Also, remember that Miami is a very diverse community so we want our company's look to have a multi-ethnic appeal. We really want to be sure we appeal to men as they are going to be tougher to recruit for this enterprise than women.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

We like blues and for the second color, edgy tertiary colors will work. Something hip and easy to read.We're hoping to have illustrations of people, not stock photography, on our website, fyi. We're open to an abstract image of people but remember we don't want to be too straight- or gay-identified.San serif font for sure.We like arial and news gothic.We like something clean and crisp, contemporary but not so forward that our senior citizens are put off.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

We don't want go retro-70's or 80's.We don't want cursive or frilly,which would turn off men.Just because we're in Miami,don't give us a South Beach nightclub look or some deco crap or retiree cheese.No sunshine or palm trees.We are starting local but hope to expand so keep in mind that this would need to work elsewhere.No hearts. Nothing too sentimental.
