Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery

The hobbyist artist to the pro who use all media.

Children and adults who want to be introduced to the basics of painting, drawing, etc. 90% of our customers are female.

Adults who want more specialized training in certain aspects of art.

All audiences/customers who want to learn art skills and have fun at the same time. Our store has become a location for artists and art students to socialize, especially when taking classes.

New customers who drive or walk by our location (we are located on a main street). Not sure a logo can do this, but I guess if it is attractive and professional, it should tweak some interest.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?

1) The services we provide are FUN!
2) Should send the message that we artistic, credible, and serious about our business.
3) Encourage traffic since we may have the products and/or services the customer wants or needs.

Style and Concept

What logo and stationery styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Text and image.

Our current font is ArtisteSSK, which has that artsy feeling (which we prefer). We do not need to use this particular font, however; others may be better. We have noticed some shortcomings with this font. E.g. the r doesnt look like an r. We use an ampersand rather than an "and" in business name.

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?

Key color is blue; however we would like other colors incorporated. We are very flexible on this.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?

Blacks, greys, browns

What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?

Friendly, cheerful, attention-getting, artsy, colorful, playful, FUN!

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Business cards, stationery, website, storefront (backlit), should look good in a single color, may use on vehicle window for advertising.

Do you have additional info or links you want to share?

Our present logo is difficult to reproduce in one color, and the animal form isnt really relevant. It may be cute and kid-friendly and reflect the fact we have something to do with art, but thats about it. All in all, the logo is dated. Should be fun, friendly, cheerful, artsy, as described above, but should appeal to both adults and children.
