What do you do?
We are a consulting firm that does large, medium and small data integration projects for corporate clients, mainly in the financial services industry but also in other industries.
We also develop business intelligence solutions for clients, meaning we take their raw data, analyze it and present it in a useful and attractive way.
We also do database development. In other words, what we do involves data.
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
You'll receive designs for biz cards, letterhead and envelopes.
Business cards, letterheads, envelopes.
What is your industry?
Financial services: mutual fund companies, investment advisors, other investment firms.
Describe the target audience for your logo and stationery
Audience is high income; well educated; gender would be a mix with males in the majority; location is the San Francisco Bay Area; working in an investment firm, often founders of their firm. Values and interests would vary too widely to say. Many are very active enthusiasts of one form or another: music, outdoor activities, food, etc.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your logo and stationery?
1. High level of skill and deep experience
2. Seriousness and excellence
3. At the same time, we want a bit of a "hip" factor. Both founding partners have interesting backgrounds - one is an accomplished musician. Can a logo be simple, serious and a bit bright and playful at the same time?

What colors do you want to see in your logo and stationery?
We don't have an existing color palette. We would like a sense of brightness.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo and stationery?
We're not barring any colors.
What adjectives should best describe your logo and stationery?
Clean, simple, attractive, professional, bright, cool, interesting. NOT purely cold, dry, corporate.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Website, business cards, print marketing materials, letterhead.
Do you have additional info or links you want to share?
I don't have anything additional to add other than we intentionally chose a bit of a quirky name in order to try to differentiate ourselves from the others out there who serve the same clientele. We'd like our logo to be clean and simple, but just barely reflect that quirkiness. That's the best I can say it.
