LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We aim to dominate the growing cottage industry of reviewing and ranking apps with our website.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo alluding to our core business: reviewing and ranking apps. The name of our website will be www.apppicker.com. Keep in mind apps are not just limited to Apple's iPhones but are also available in other platforms such as Google's Android, Blackberry's App World and Microsoft's Mobile. We have discussed the possibility of having a stick like figure reaching for a tree filled with apps but aren't at all tied to this concept. We are open to your creative ideas.
The logo will be used throughout our website as well as on business cards and stationary.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Most of our users will aged 15 to 35 years with gender being even. The qualities we want our users to associate with us include: (a) edgy [after all we are dealing with some of today's most cutting edge technology] but not overboard crazy edgy (b) credible [a one stop source for all of their app needs including news, reviews and trends] and (c) robust [we will carry information on over 100,000 apps and strive to review all of them over time].
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We don't have a preference for color, font or style but the colors should be limited in quantify (2 max?) and the font should not be crazy and within the bandwith of normalcy.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We want the name of our website (AppPicker) to be stationed somewhere near the logo but the exact location doesn't matter at this time.
