LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Wright Consulting Associates, Inc. (WCAinc) is an acoustical and sound consulting firm for Architects in commercial and professional performance venues. Also AV system design and development for education, business, conference rooms and religious venues. Noise control, room layout/design and performance acoustics for a wide range of professional music, conferencing venues, video conferencing and stage presentations that need acosutical and AV systems support. We also try to make things quiet - ie low noise!
Also focusing on the science of speech clarity and intelligibility in large rooms and performance spaces with professional sound systems. Design services by referral ONLY - ie no product sales. Semi formal and suit and tie businesses with million dollar budgets. Clients are architectural, with electrical engineers and facility managers- ie NO residential, NO consumers, No DJ and No clubs etc.
Design, CAD plans development, specifications, lots of conceptual with creative types. We use a lot of geometry, rounded and articulated surfaces with patterned wall surfaces and ceilings. Think bumps and patterns on architectural plans. Reference products and similar issues are well illustrated by websites such as WWW.RPGInc.com and WWW.kineticsnoisecontrol.com. We do a lot of acoustical clouds and ceiling profiles for stage and auditoriums.
Repeat clients are sophisticated, use a lot of Auto CAD or building plans and have a high value for visuals, color and concept.
Products we can mention as often used are typically
microphones, loudspeakers, acoustical wall panels, mixing consoles, acoustic clouds in performance halls, cable, electronics etc. None of these should actually be incorporated into the logo per se and are stated to help understand what we do.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Logo for a bi fold business card. Card is a fold over with a slightly smaller face or top, than the bottom. This leave a bit of tab underneath for color or my name showing from the bottom side.
"Wright Consulting Associates Inc". is business name. Considering option of ""WCAinc"
Same logo and business name on letterhead. Information currently on our card, once unfolded is
a small list bullet pointed list saying:
Acoustics Design
Noise Control
Professional Audio and Video Systems

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Architects and professional creative types with either space, color and visual sensitivity, or analytical engineering types. CAD is always part of their work. Graphics are important.
Like their clients, they often dont understand sound or the decibel, as they cannot "see" it. But they are always aware it is problematic if they dont address it in their building design.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Subtle with high graphics values. No silly objects like coffee cups or cars or animals...
Can have grids and shadowed graphics from architectural drawings. Like shadowing on script. Would also consider a monotone with raised letters, all in white or neutral for the top of a bi fold card.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Nothing silly like coffee cups, cars, animals, or off the generic roster of shapes and symbols. We wont consider them. Logo must show creativity.
