we are a small boutique retail business about to open our first store in charlottesville, va. carrying high end designer fabrics ( normally bought through the trade) at amazingly discounted prices. we are NOT a discounter.......no 70% off signs to be found in our store. this is to be a hip place where you can find great stuff at amazing prices........and we want our printed materials to reflect that.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
we need a sophisticated but fun layout for business cards and what we call memo tags. both are to be the same size, 3.5"w x 2.5" h.( trying to be different and yet economical at the same time) they can be printed on one or both sides.
the business cards need to contain the following: logo ( jpg attached to this post), address, phone number, website address, fax, and salesperson name.
memo tags are to be used for marking the necessary info on fabrics on the bolt in the store, and also attached to cuttings to be handed out to customers when they want to take a small cutting with them. these tags are to contain the following info: our stock number, manufacturer, fabric name, style number, retail price, width of bolt, and most importantly, our price per yard. a scan of a temporary tag showing a layout we are using is also attached.
in both cases, info can be re-arranged. we would love to see something that feels fresh.....but contains what we need it to.....
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
our clientele is mainly female, 30-55, and they are customers with means......and additionally our clients are also interior designers ( of both sexes) but dont want the store or the cards to feel overtly feminine.....the website doesn't and it has the feel we like. and certainly
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
we like our logo......seen on website and attached as a jpg here......and like the idea of relating to fabric as the needle in our logo does.......as to the logo, if you choose to modify it, that change would certainly be considered. the orange and the dark grey are keepers as well.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
our logo! we like it, but are fine with considering adaptations or changes to it...
