B2B. 25-55 year old leaders and key players of the travel retail industry.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your website design

TRBusiness is the authority on providing breaking news from all aspects of the travel retail industry. TRBusiness should come across unbiased, fair, honest, and extremely experienced in their field. The new design should reflect their conscious effort to provide relevant and quality video content/rich media. For more info see the attached design-brief.pdf.

How is your company different from your competitors?

TRBusiness is a professional B2B organisation, with a solid and historic infrastructure, providing in-depth analysis of travel retail news. They strive for excellent presentation and to provide only the news that the user wants, including news that is most important to the user’s business. The news is unbiased, fair, honest and is easy to navigate. On a regular basis, TRBusiness publishes a 90 second video update of news from around the website. For more info please see the attached design-brief.pdf.

What website design styles do you like?

The website design should reflect the vast amount of content that TRBusiness provide, without sacrificing the excellent usability they strive for. The website should look clean, fresh and modern but maintain the feel of being a news provider and NOT a retail or consumer website. To see examples of websites that TRBusiness like, and why, please see the attached design-brief.pdf.

Brief updates

By Wrender on 28-May-14 8:10 p.m. GMT
Please refrain from using content carousels/sliders for the latest news articles. Doing this instantly makes the latest news inaccessible. The user should be able to see all the latest news without having to navigate a carousel. It's the most important part of the website. Thanks.

Comments from the client:

- Please include a small logo in the footer. This helps re-enforce the branding.

- Please include a Twitter feed on the homepage.

- The subscribe for the newsletter feature should be high on the page with a call-to-action.

- Font colour; this should be as legible as possible as our target audience is not young. Higher contrast text is generally better for normal article text.
