What do you do?
The Living Theatre is an American theatre company founded in 1947 and based in New York City. It is the oldest experimental theatre group still existing in the U.S. For most of its history it was led by its founders, actress Judith Malina and painter/poet Julian Beck; after Beck's death in 1985, company member Hanon Reznikov became co-director with Malina.

Style and Concept
What landing page design styles do you like?
This landing page is good but not creative enough and too template looking http://www.grammy.com/
http://www.nyfa.edu/ - red and black, but not creative enough, too much stuff going on
http://www.bruce-campbell.com/pilot.asp - very nice
http://www.jimcarrey.com/ - very creative, we dont' need to have this crazy of the layout but can take some ideas from here in terms of being out of the box
What colors do you want to see in your landing page?
Black, red and white probably would be best. Other options are welcome too. It should look very artistic due to the industry, the color scheme should be appropriate.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your landing page?
We dont really want to constrain the ideas, but it should be Theatre/art/productions colors
What adjectives should best describe your landing page?
Artistic, creative, experimental (Living Theatre is the oldest experimental theatre in the US).
What content must be included in the landing page?
See the attached PDF with wireframes. We're redoing the whole website, but crowdsourcing only the home page design. We will handle the rest of the pages and the programming, so disregard the rest of the pages, it just to give you an idea of what the site is going to be like. We would like to include the parts on the homepage that would lead to various sections on the website. We gave our best suggestion as to what goes to the home page, but you can change the layouts/sizes,even what goes to the page.
I'm attaching the logo image - no source file sorry, the colors on the logo can be changed - not necessarily black on while background, can be red on black, or white on red, or some other colors. The image itself should stay the same.
I'm also uploading a short description of what goes to the home page - you can read that and compare with what's on the wireframe.
Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
You can use images from here:
it's not the full set, but gives an ideas of what would go to the slide show on the home page
