LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Instructables.com is the world's biggest show-and-tell. We provide a place to see cool projects and learn new things, even if you aren't planning to build anything yourself. If you DO make things, we help you show your project off to an excited audience.

We're a small, 10-person company, and the employees are among our top contributors, often hired from the site. The site is big on cooperation and community. Members tell their stories, teach, and share - it can become intensely personal, and many people care about the site passionately.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We've recently launched Pro account subscriptions, and want to convince both new visitors and existing free account holders to sign up for pro accounts. This will be web-only, and our site is 970 pixels wide.

We need you to completely reimagine our pitch to be more convincing and effective. Don't just rearrange our ideas - identify what you think are key features to encourage sign-ups, and re-design the go-pro page accordingly. Do people go Pro to support the site, emulate staff and high-profile members, access useful features, etc? We think Pro accounts are useful, awesome, and a fantastic deal, but how do we convey this quickly and clearly? Check out the site, form your own opinions, and create something totally different. We love having our pre-conceived notions upset.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Keep it simple, clear, upbeat, and make sure any images pop. Keep words to a minimum.
