LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are building a site for a family of companies. There is a sports photography company, memorabilia store, music production company, film producing company all within one site. After the intro video plays, users will choose which company they want to enter. The companies all have different logos, and each company is obviously very different, so the site design is really going to be the only thing tying them all together, so it is very important.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I wanted the site to be very media driven, so a media player at the top, and then below that, the section that news, photo galleries, and portfolio pieces will be. Since every company is so different, with so much different content, I was trying to think of a way to display it all in the same basic fashion, to make the site seem congruent, rather than 5 different sites in one. Since all pages have media (either video or photo) and all pages have content (either text, categories, or galleries) this is what I came up with.
The design needs to be classy, cool and professional.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Everyone from memorabilia buyers, to HBO executives will be looking at this site.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Anything from thefwa.com
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We're asking for one page, based upon the skeleton PDF uploaded. Please don't feel constricted to this, but rather use it as a general guideline.
No need to incorporate logos as I will handle that.
The design should be geared more towards being used a full-screen Flash site, and less towards being your standard HTML/CSS blog-style layout.
