What do you do?

We are developing a platform to help field operators in their daily business (visits, availability management, planning, etc), while providing them with a fun and engaging gamified experience to go along with their work.

We are currently redesigning the platform's dashboard, whose look'n feel will determine the aesthetics of the rest of the website.

Describe the target audience for your landing page

Our target audience is mostly composed by women in their mid-forties. They are working on the road, but mostly in the same area, which lets them go back home at the end of the day.

Coffee in hand, they go on the website at the beginning of each day to see what they have to do (how many visits are planned, where, what do they need) The platform is for them a simple mean to get their business done and the dashboard is the gateway to that experience.

They're not Web aficionados and some of them still have dial-up Internet connections, so the number of visual assets should be limited.

Even though women are our focus, men should still feel included in the design.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your landing page?

1) We give you what you need to do your work properly and professionally 2) This landing page is a tool to help you in your work, not a burden 3) This website is welcoming and won't have you start your day in a bad way

How is your company different from your competitors?

Instead of just being a tool to help the employees in their daily business, our platform creates a fun, human and engaging experience that makes work feel less like work.

Style and Concept

What landing page design styles do you like?

We want something simple, mostly professional (though not corporate) that paves the way to information gathering, with a hint of playfulness for the gamified aspect of the platform.

We also need a style that does not include too many visual assets, since a proportion of our target audience still has a dial-up Internet connection.

A dashboard has already been designed and should be taken into consideration. The two first rows (Insert your logo here and Top menu with "Dashboard", "Resource center...") MUST stay as they are in the final design.

What colors do you want to see in your landing page?

We need colors that appeal to women, yet are not too colorful or "cartoony" for men to still feel included. The color palette should have a light tone.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your landing page?

We don't want to see agressive or dark colors.

What adjectives should best describe your landing page?

Professional, welcoming, appealing to women, straightforward and simple

What content must be included in the landing page?

All the content included in the current dashboard needs to be in the new one, though their disposition, except for the first two rows, can be revised.

Picture and level icon - Calendar - Statistics - Newsfeed - Availability indicator - Map pour geographical indicators and buttons to control their visibility - Planned visit section - Greeting personalized message

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?

Please note that this dashboard's look and feel will be the starting point for the design of the whole website and its mobile counterpart. Incidentally, further collaboration is a possibility.
