Creative brief

Business Name

What do you do?

nChannel’s cloud-based management portal enables distributors and retailers to easily and cost effectively manage multi-channel sales and supply chain processes. By connecting the existing ERP, POS, and Web Store systems to nChannel, subscribers can easily syndicate item data, deploy drop ship programs, track and manage inventory, and view customer activity across all channels, from any web browser. In just minutes, customers can begin to sync and manage multi-channel data from multiple systems, connect suppliers or customers and begin trading electronically.

How many pages of illustration do you need?

six sketches of stand-alone action super heroes (black & white cartoon)

What do you need illustrated?

We're picturing black and white comic book-like sketches. Think early Micky Mouse (clean characters, not too distracting) nothing as detailed as a current-day Spider-Man comic book sketch. Each character should have some icon to identify their "personality".

These are our Avengers of our business. They safeguard our business world. They should be strong but approachable looking/friendly.

“Customer Caretaker” – customer service manager, salesperson, helps customers find products, kind, patient, helpful – responsible for customer satisfaction

“Merchandising Maestro” – merchandising manager, peddles products, lures in buyers, decides which products to sell where (online, in stores, etc.), runs promotions and sales, creative – responsible for increasing sales (FEMALE character)

“Margin Man” – CFO, manages financial efficiency throughout the company, keeps an eye on income and expenses – responsible for maximizing margins

“Inventory Wizard” – supply chain manager, buyer or inventory manager, buys products from suppliers, manages inventory, decides where orders will be fulfilled (which warehouse, store or supplier has the item in stock?), process-oriented, organized, savvy negotiator – responsible for cash flow (carrying as little inventory as possible while still filling all orders) (FEMALE character)

“SuperCEO” – the leader of the superheroes, wants to reduce friction between each superhero so each of their duties are performed in the most efficient way possible, strong leader, visionary – responsible for growth of the company

“MCM Man” – nChannel’s solution, gives SuperCEO the vision he needs to lead the entire organization, responsible for orchestrating the processes conducted by all of the other superheroes, has a cape and a shield with nChannel logo in the middle. This is the only character that should have color. See attached file for nChannel (nBubble) logo.

Does your illustration need to be a particular size?

Will be used inside a white paper as graphic as well as within banner ads on web site so detailing can't be too fine as to be lost when re-sized.

What is your industry?

Software and InfoTech

Describe the target audience for your illustration

Audience with be IT people, business people, and retail

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?

All but MCM Man are illustrations of our customers. They need to be strong characters, leaders of their specialty, with a touch of humor.

What lillustration styles do you like?

classic comic book artwork of the 30's. clean lines not too distracting from the content that will surround it. artwork should support the message not overwhelm it.

What colors do you want to see in your illustration?

black & white, except MCM Man who should have the nChannel logo on his shield.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?

NOTHING but black & white with the one touch of our nChannel blue.

What adjectives should best describe your illustration?

These are our Avengers of our business. They safeguard our business world. They should be strong but approachable looking/friendly.

Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?

print, website

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
