Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

Business Name

We Believe IT

What do you do?

We are an IT consultancy and software house in UK - we provide high quality consulting experience and visionary software

How many pages of illustration do you need?

What do you need illustrated?

I would like to develop a single Webpage (landing page) that provides a 'teaser' for the forthcoming 'Illuminate' software concept. I would like this done in the style of a cinema poster. There needs to be a logo incorporated into this page - but this is just simple text. It may be a good idea to have a matching symbol as well. The illustration may need to be printed at a later date

Does your illustration need to be a particular size?

Fit a standard browser

What is your industry?

Software and InfoTech

Describe the target audience for your illustration

UK and Eurpoean businesses who are interested in innovative software and want to differentiate therir performance by using cutting edge technology.

What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?

the 'coolness' of the brand, create a huge amount of desire based on anticipation of the forthcoming product and not giving away too much, indicate this software will 'cast a light' across organisations and have a massive impact - it will be game changing and massively innovative

What lillustration styles do you like?

Cinematic posters, 80's software adverts e.g. , gothic poster designs, the lynx deoderant branding for the 2012 campaign:

What colors do you want to see in your illustration?

Black background (possibly textured with subtle grey floral or gothic emboss), emerald foreground font for logo, casting a glow, white text at top and bottom . Just looking at 3 or 4 colour combinations max

What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?

pink, purple, red, brown, orange

What adjectives should best describe your illustration?

Dramatic, teasing, cool, contemporary, simple, anticipating, attractive, cool, strong, decisive, mystical, inspiring, rewarding, leading, visionary

Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?

Website and possibly a poster

Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?

I think the audience will be mainly women working in HR, but main decision makers will often be men.

The software is all about helping to make people feel better, inspired at work and get a better work life balance. It also has a more serious side to keep track of how often people are sick at work.

I'd like the logo to have similar colour to the we believe it logo (

I would like the webpage to be minimalist with a black background and an interesting border. I'd like to create a very dramatic effect, a bit like a film that is going to be released soon. I want to make people excited about the product and develop anticipation. There will be very little information on the page.

There will be just a few words of text in white and green with the text placed at the bottom like a film advert.

Overall, the webpage needs to be clean, modern, dramatic, inspiring

Some words (put them in capitals):

'Full release in 2013. Get a glimpse, try the preview product'

I really like this image:

Please note the word 'Illuminate' represents a family of software products, which will each be called 'People', 'Places' and 'VIP'. On your draft please include the word 'Illuminate' and a word underneath to indicate the specific product. The product itself should be in a different colour.

Also please make sure you look at the links I've provided, they will really help to steer you.
