What do you do?
We buy houses or condos in New York -- in the suburbs -- and take them off your hands fast. Hassle free -- no repairs to do, no waiting, no searching for buyers. Whether you inherited a property you don't want or are stuck in financial trouble, you can sell your home to us and walk away with cash in your pocket, in a matter of days. Leads are 100% online and the target market may be educated or not educated, but generally they are people who inherited a home that needs a tremendous amount of fixing, or is too far away to manage listing it, or was inherited by a set of siblings that are fighting over what to do. The next largest market are people facing foreclosure. After that, a mix of people in financial straits or people facing declining health or people relocated elsewhere or people with houses damaged by fire or people's whose tenants are abusive and they just want to be rid of the problem. The want to get fast cash upfront, in exchange for vacating their home and selling the rights to it, to our firm. We are honest, straight-forward and have been doing this for a decade. We put ourselves forward as LOCAL people who come out to your home and see its condition, and make an offer on the spot. We operate in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, but aim to expand. We also point you to other people ... whether attorneys of realtors -- if you choose to take another path.
How many pages of illustration do you need?
One big picture graphic for the home page
What do you need illustrated?
For the homepage, the big illustration behind the call to action and the explanation...and the contact us box. One idea was a guy who was being pulled by his neck, with a noose or a hook or similar, and sitting on the hook or noose was rundown house. But it doesn't have to be this visual.
Does your illustration need to be a particular size?
The big picture is for the home page, see the http://my.studiopress.com/themes/agentpr....
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your illustration
They may be educated or not, blue collar to middle class, but not necessarily very educated. They may be looking at the site on a desktop at the end of the day, or on the train, but they probably struggle with technology. Often they are middle aged, and they want things simple. They want the most basic information at their fingertips. They are so frustrated and despairing that they are willing to pay someone 65 cents on the dollar just to get rid of a problem that is on their backs. Some will lose the house anyway due to foreclosure, but this is not our biggest market. Our biggest market are folks who inherited a property in very bad condition, and don't have the funds, the time or the willingness to do a complete fix up. Or the property is far away from them, and managing the process to get it ready for listing is too complicated, and as it can take 6-9 months to sell it, this timeline doesn't fit their needs.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
We are trustworthy, we are empathize with your problem, and we are accessible (local). Lesser traits: we are creative in solving your problem ... and we are highly experienced doing this ... we are honest and offer a fair value for the property as is, in cash. We put ourselves forth as a real estate solutions company.
Style and Concept

We have bought the rights to 1800sellnow in New York state... site will be at URL 1800sellnowNY.com See that 1800sellnow.com website for the logo, we will use the same logo just adding New York below. The main colors of the site are green and red for buttons.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
The big illustration should be an easy visual to show you want to be rid of your burden. Could have an unwanted house, could have several words over several houses (inheritance, foreclosure ...) but better than words would be a funny visual.
We are want to creative ideas that go beyond just stick figures and house outlines.
