What do you do?
The NanoSpark controller brings the power of iOS devices to the physical world. NanoSpark allows developers and users of sensors, machines and other devices to convert them to smart devices. With custom apps users can integrate their devices into the web and leverage the computing power of the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices to monitor and control their equipment
Some examples: we've paired NanoSpark with a geiger counter and an app to collect data and then send out alerts when appropriate. We have a color sensor using an iPhone's camera to do color sorting. We've also used it as a basic thermostat control. Currently we're experimenting with electrical door locks to replace employee keys.
The possibilities are endless!
Customers can use it with a full range of sensors and switches covering temperature, humidity, flow rate, air speed, magnetic, RF, ph, chemical (CO2, Ozone, etc), radiation, motion, ultrasonic, position and more. They can control directly any simple device that reacts to 5VDC. They can control electrical relays for bigger equipment like pumps, motors, fans, heating elements, valves (pneumatic or hydraulic), lights etc. The iOS side will allow easy network integration for text messages, email, remote data storage, web based data retrieval. The iOS devices will provide an easy user interface for complex data processing, viewing and controlling.
