What do you do?
We are a full service digital marketing agency. Our speciality is making the web more personal. This project is for one of our clients called "Merante Brothers Market" - it's an italian market, cafe and cucina. We have already designed the logo but the illustration is an image of a photo converted using Photoshop. You'll see that the quality is not high enough to reproduce in small scale.
How many pages of illustration do you need?
Does your illustration need to be a particular size?
No as long as it is a VECTOR based EPS.
What is your industry?
Seasoned entrepreneurs and small business owners ready to take their business to the next level.
Describe the target audience for your illustration
Business people, busy moms and middle to upper middle income earning families. Families or people who dine out often, what authentic, high-quality, locally sourced food. People interested in gourmet or ethnic foods - from mozzarella from Italy to excellent high-quality coffee.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
As true to the image as possible of the photograph.
Hand-drawn sketch feel
Style and Concept
What lillustration styles do you like?
See Logo 11 file attached. This will give you a feel for the type of illustration we are aiming for. Not a funny cartoon looking illo but something more true to the photo (also attached). Something that looks hand done, elegant and as much like the brothers as possible - so they are somewhat recognizable and distinct.
What colors do you want to see in your illustration?
Only black and white.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
Do not use any other colors then black and white.
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
I will upload a jpeg of a black and white photo. The illustration should be of the three brothers from the shoulders on up to head. I will also upload the final logo this will give you a very clear idea of how the illo should look like - we don't want a funny cartoon like image. Something more serious and true to the picture.
Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?
print, website, other online locations (E-Newsletter, email, Facebook page, etc) many different paper products seen in a restaurant, coffee mugs, recycled grocery bags, napkin holders, coffee cup sleeve (think Starbucks)
Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
IMPORTANT: Notice in the jpeg of the black and white photo that the brother on the far right is a little further away from the other two. He needs to be moved closer to the other two (see logo sample for example)
