What do you do?
We sell advanced planning and scheduling software to manufacturers.
How many pages of illustration do you need?
One page for illustration and second award is for animation of the illustration in this project. So it will likely be a $400 award for one winner to do both illustration and animation, but not necessarily.
What do you need illustrated?
The critical success factors of our software for our clients. It should illustrate what makes our software, services and approach unique and gives us a clear competitive advantage, and which features enable this competitive advantage.
Does your illustration need to be a particular size?
We need the illustration to be easily scalable to different sizes, but sizes we need for sure are 1000 x 500, 1900 x 500 and 1900 x 1200. We would also need to obtain the original artwork, vector and png. The animation could be done after the illustration has been awarded, and at that point dimensions can be determined. Animation cannot be done is flash...it needs to display on iphones and ipads.
What is your industry?
Software and InfoTech
Describe the target audience for your illustration
Mid to large size manufacturers.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
The competitive advantages of our solutions
Dynamic nature of our company (+ "cool factor")
Connection with manufacturing industry
Style and Concept
What lillustration styles do you like?
Clean, clear, upbeat.
What colors do you want to see in your illustration?
See the colors here: http://planettogether.com/newsite/. Consistency with our brand and/or the big graphic on home page makes sense. Consistency with this graphic makes sense as well: http://planettogether.com/stages/
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
There's no hard limitation other than consistency described above is important. Not too many dark colors please.
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
Cool, dynamic, stands out.
Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?
New website that is currently under development (http://planettogether.com/newsite/), print, PowerPoint, videos.
Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
Please know that this is a $400 project if you combine the illustration with the animation of the same illustration. One idea we had was to build out the gears theme (http://planettogether.com/newsite/servic...) whereby each critical success factor could be represented by a gear (which could spin through animation, and pop out or enlarge for more copy [if you hover over it]) in a series of gears that spin together. Another option is a pyramid, which is shown in a file we attached under materials with the placeholder copy in short-hand. Probably like the gears more than the pyramid, but we're are open to either or any new ideas as well.
