We need a design created for posters and banners to use at a company party that is occurring during SXSW Interactive in Austin, Texas
Does your illustration need to be a particular size?
We're looking for a design / logo for the party poster and banners. So, it need to be able to show on a banner as big as 2 meters x 2 meters, but also look good on a website.

The attending of our party will be mostly Digital Marketers, Marketing executives, and Agency types.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
Our office and party is on the eastside of Austin in an eclectic / funky / upcoming part of town. We want the design to have that vibe. It also can include Texas / Southwest themes, as we will have music by Texas honky-tonk legend Jesse Dayton, BBQ from 3rd generation master of meat John Mueller, and texas beers (Lonestar and Shiner) and tequila. We are also in the digital marketing / analytics space, so it should have a "wired" slant on the above.

What lillustration styles do you like?
Very open, but like the vibe of old concert posters (though not overly complex or psychedelic)
What colors do you want to see in your illustration?
No strong color preference. Black and white designs are also a possibility.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
We are open, but it needs to not clash with the logos of the two sponsoring companies (People Pattern and Gage)
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
Some mix of Eclectic, Texan (but not cowboy or pure western), Scientific, Relaxed

The parties names is "South by Eastside" which needs to appear prominently. Also, the event logistics: Sunday March 9th from 2pm to 5pm, 501 Pedernales St., Austin, TX 78702.
