HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We are looking to develop a brand character.
The character should take form as a mascot or personality, and could be an animal, person or character. It must appeal to K-12 students (ages 5-18), educators, and be appropriate for an educational environment. The character should be fun, engaging, energetic, and relate to our users (students and educators). It needs to incorporate netTrekkers logo in some way, either be as part of the structure, on the characters outfit, etc.
This character could be used on marketing collateral and giveaway items. It could also eventually appear as a help guide within the product and be animated for use in instructional videos or demos.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our main audience is K-12 students and educators. The character must be fun and energetic enough to engage elementary students, but still relate to older high school students and teachers.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
BrainPOP (an educational technology company) has brand characters including Moby, Tim and Annie. While we encourage new and original ideas, it may be helpful to reference these characters as a starting point.
