Mangers and Supervisors
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
This illustration will be used to market a program on bad apples in the workplace the types of employees who are difficult, unproductive, or whose negative behavior drags down the whole team.
Im looking for an illustration of workplace probably an open cubicle/office arrangement that shows at least: 2 people who are hard at work at least trying to be hard at work, but theyre getting irritated/annoyed by the bad apples AND 2 or more people who are the bad apples theyre engaging in disruption/unacceptable behaviors of some kind.
Ideas/Examples of types of disruptive/unacceptable behaviors that would be acceptable in the illustration:
*Goofing off playing computer games or texting on their phone
*Ignoring urgent work projects by letting them sit on their desk or throwing them away
*Blaring music or otherwise pestering people with noise
*Coming in late or leaving early
*Doing sloppy work
Etc. These are just ideas
Style and Concept
What lillustration styles do you like?
Normal Rockwell-esque ... though it'd be fine to modernize it a bit
Dilbert -- but please don't copy Dilbert, because I don't want to get sued!
What colors do you want to see in your illustration?
I'm open on colors.
For the first draft, it's fine to just submit a loose sketch in b&w to see if I even like the concept or direction you're going before you proceed further. the final illustration will need to be in color, though ... and just because I say I like your project doesn't guarantee you'll win (want to be fair on this ... I usually end up liking 2-3 projects very much and I don't have enough money to do 2-3 awards)
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
Very easy to understand
It need to relate to the viewer immediately -- by that I mean they must say "yeah -- that looks familiar, I've seen people like that at work"
Where will you use the illustration (print, website, etc.)?
print/email/web ... all advertising for this seminar training
