Private Stock Marketplace
What do you do?
We are an online bulletin board for posting the shares of stock in private companies for either selling or buying.
What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your illustration
Individual investors who like to buy and sell stocks on their own.
What 3 things do you want to communicate to your audience through your illustration?
I need 12 images. One for each o'clock (1 o'clock to 12 o'clock). These are square images of at least 1024 x 1024 pixel resolution. I lean towards having a round clock face with just the hour hand spinning in a circle. However, I am open minded to creative designs using digital displays. The most important thing is that users of the app should be able to tell instantly what o'clock it is at a glance without thinking very hard. The purpose of this clock is to convey stock market cycles. 12pm is the top of the market. 6pm is the bottom of the market. 9pm is mid market on a bull cycle upswing. 3pm is mid market on a bear market downswing. 7pm through 1pm is known as a bull market or boom cycle. 1pm through 7pm is known as a bear market or bust cycle. 3pm to 7pm is the known as the nuclear winter. 11pm to 1pm is known as the bubble market. 6pm to 9pm is a buy cycle. 12pm to 3pm is a sell cycle. 5pm to 7pm is a hold cycle. You can use these themes to inspire your designs but you don't have to incorporate all of these ideas. The minimum requirement is 12 images for 12 distinct o'clocks.
Style and Details
How many items or screens do you need illustrated?
I need 12 images that are very similar. They display the time in hour increments (1 o'clock to 12 o'clock). The position of the 12 should be at the top, 3pm is on the right side, and 6 o'clock should be at the bottom, and 9pm is on the left in case that wasn't obvious. However, novel clock faces and digital clocks are welcome.
Does your illustration need to be a particular size?
Each image should be a square of at least 1024 x 1024 pixels. Each image should not be too intricate. More like icons that represent the apps on your mobile phone. In other words, even when they are as small as your finger, you can still tell what time it is. When blown up to the size of your phone screen, it can have fancy shading, shadows, etc. but the general image shouldn't be too intricate.
What mobile illustration styles do you like?
Square images like the icons that represent the apps on your mobile phone. The icons should convey information instantly. This is more detailed than an icon but you have to assume that in some situations, the image might be that small.
What colors do you want to see in your illustration?
What colors do you NOT want to see in your illustration?
nothing is excluded
What adjectives should best describe your illustration?
humor is welcome but not mandatory. The time on the clock should convey the mood of the stock market.
Do you have additional info or links you'd like to share?
I might add something later if I can find some samples.
