LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge Foundation is re-vamping its web site and needs an illustrated web header to be the focal point of the site. The foundation is a non-profit dedicated to preserving the heritage of the first bridge in the world named for a normal, blue-collar worker.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
The header should be 974 pixels wide and 250 pixels tall. The illustration should be a side view of the bridge at NIGHT. The art should have the text "Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge Foundation" somewhere in a sans-serif font. The illustration of the bridge should dominate the art, not the text.
Here are various photos from Flickr to give you an idea of what the bridge looks like:
Here is a Flickr photo search for "zampa bridge", this will give you a really good idea of what the bridge looks like from different angles:
Please keep your color palette within the night time look of the bridge. This photo gives my favorite view of the bridge at night, but the colors are too washed out. Please try to use this type of viewing angle in your illustration: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ravelaz/326...
The palette I would like to see would use shades of dark blue for the sky and water and an orange glow on the towers, much like these photos:
I don't want a photocopy of these images, I want your artistic interpretation and illustration of the bridge in your style. This is where your creativity and my personal taste will collide. Do what you think looks best for a modern web page and I will try to give the best feedback possible.
Thank you so much!

Some cool web headers:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The illustration should depict the Alfred Zampa Bridge and its unique features -- not some random bridge.
Please ONLY include the two-tower suspension bridge in your design, we do not want the other bridges behind the Zampa bridge in the design. To be perfectly clear, the Zampa bridge is the two-tower bridge closest to the camera with all of the lights running up and down the cables in this photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ravelaz/326...
Please keep the design as simple as possible and don't include the various buildings / trees that clutter up the scene.
I do not need any navigation elements, just the header.
