Describe the target audience for your icon design
The target audience is going to be of the 20-50 age.
Working people who are concerned about saving money from parking tickets and not getting their vehicles stolen or vandalized.
Since they are using mobile phones and driving, they will be somewhat affluent.
Clever is great, but childish won't cut it.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your icon design?
Style and Details
How many different icons do you need designed?
There is really only one icon, but it will need to look good in a variety of sizes.
So the chosen artist will need to provide the icon in its different sizes that are described in the size section.
If you feel super creative, and want to slightly alter each size logo to take advantage of the sizes, feel free.
Do you have specific size requirements for the icons?
Initially, these icons will be going on an Android app, of which the specs are here:
What icon design styles do you like?
Instead of inhibiting creativity, let me just say what icons I don't like out there:
1) Icons that look like existing system icons...this gets confusing.
2) Icons that are just letters....a little too boring, and probably something a computer nerd like myself could create.
3) Icons with no color. They don't stand out.
4) Nothing with that little green robot guy, please.
What colors do you want to see in your icon design?
I do not have an existing color palette, but trust is often expressed in blue.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon design?
Nothing that I can think of is bothersome or bad.
What adjectives should best describe your icon design?
Bold but not tacky
Do you have additional requirements or links you'd like to share?
