What do you do?
Brogey is a mobile matching and online reservation platform for the common golfer. In essence, Brogey wants to do for golfers and golf course tee time booking what OpenTable did for restaurant goers and dining establishments - with an additional taste of eHarmony.
GOLFOREs customer interface is designed as a mobile-first platform on iOS and will also be available as an online desktop platform for PC users. In addition to being a stand-alone application, users will have to ability to utilize GOLFORE to bridge their existing connections on LinkedIn and Facebook. As we help to match players to other players, and foursomes to courses, we will collect information on our users including their habits, and match on preferences such as:
Brogey. This is a combination of the word Bogey and Bro. Bogey meaning a score that is one more than the official standard score for a particular hole : a score of one stroke over par on a hole and a common word to describe the common golfer (bogey golfer). Bro meaning short form for brother.

Style and Details
How many different icons do you need designed?
1 Design - 3 different icon sizes
Do you have specific size requirements for the icons?
Size for iPhone 5 and iPod touch (high resolution)
App icon (required for all apps): 120 x 120
App icon for the App Store (required for all apps): 1024 x 1024
Launch image (required for all apps): 640 x 1136
What icon design styles do you like?
Simple and clean.
What colors do you want to see in your icon design?
I'm thinking background should be green with different hues to illustrate grass or green area on a golf course. The lettering should be black and red (see requirements below).
What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon design?
What adjectives should best describe your icon design?
Creative, cool, I'd wear it on a shirt.
Do you have additional requirements or links you'd like to share?
My initial concept is that it should just be the letters BRO. The B should be red. The R should be in a different font, black and should have a black square around it. In golf, a square around a number means you got a bogey on a hole. And the O should be a golf ball - black outline.
