- The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History in Sioux Falls, SD, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a greater understanding of our natural world through education, conservation, recreation and discovery. The Great Plains Zoo is an accredited member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA) a leader in wildlife conservation. Fewer than 10% of American zoos and aquariums have met the high standards for AZA accreditation.

- The Great Plains Zoo features over 1,000 animals from around the world. Open 361 days a year, the 45-acre park offers up-close views of animals often not found in larger zoos including Giraffes, Tigers, Rhinos, Bears and a jumping, hooting array of Primates.

- The Zoo also includes the Delbridge Museum of Natural History, a rare collection of 150 mounted animals including 38 vanishing species.

Describe the target audience for your icon or button design

- The Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History employs approximately 44 full-time employees. We plan to launch a new employee engagement campaign aimed to motivate and empower employees while keeping staff morale at an optimistic and positive level. The theme for the campaign will be Weve Got the Power.

- The full time employees range from Zookeepers, Education Specialists, Guest Service Representatives, Maintenance Workers and Administrative Professionals (marketing, accounting, development, etc.)

What icon or button design styles do you like?

We are looking for creative elements that utilize various power sources such as light bulbs, windmills, generators, engines, etc. Please feel free to suggest other power sources as creative elements.

What colors do you want to see in your icon or button design?

Any two of the following:
- Standard Black
- Yellow (Pantone 130C)
- Red (Pantone 193C
- Purple (269C)

I've included our Zoo's logo as a reference regarding colors and to give the designer a better idea of who we are.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon or button design?

We do not want any colors that aren't listed above.

What adjectives should best describe your icon or button design?

We would like the creative elements to be empowering, uplifting and optimistic.

What content must be included in the icon or button design?

Logo - Image plus the name of the campaign, "We've Got the Power".
Supporting Icons/Images - No words, just images.

- The full time employees range from Zookeepers, Education Specialists, Guest Service Representatives, Maintenance Workers and Administrative Professionals (marketing, accounting, development, etc.)

Creative Concept:
- The name of the campaign is Weve Got the Power. We are looking for creative elements that utilize various power sources such as light bulbs, windmills, generators, engines, etc. We would like the creative elements to be empowering and uplifting. Please feel free to suggest other power sources as creative elements.
- Although we are a Zoo, we are not necessarily looking for animals to be a part of the visual creative concept.

Needs:
- One logo which encompasses the overall theme of the campaign, Weve Got the Power.
- Four supporting icons/images which represent different power sources such as light bulbs, windmills, etc.
- We would like to use these primarily in print (posters, signage, and promotional materials) and digital (PowerPoint presentations, etc).
