Describe the target audience for your icon or button design
Our target market are small business owners launching their initial sites and brands. Primarily we work with creatives who operate women-owned businesses (photographers, crafters, event planners) though our client list spans large national high-tech and education companies as well. We work as a natural extension to larger brands and their in-house communications teams or handle communications and strategy for smaller businesses who need to outsource this work.
What 3 things would you like to communicate to your audience through your icon or button design?
The kind of effortless work that comes with understanding the balance required to manage a project.
Brand cohesion that is professional but creates an ease and comfort.
Style and Concept
What icon or button design styles do you like?
What colors do you want to see in your icon or button design?
Logo colors are: HEX: 151B27 and HEX: 9F7952
There is a secondary product line whose logo uses HEX: E73938
The colors should be worked in with those. I've explored shades of coral and peach mixed in (i.e. something like this: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/15248913735... incorporating shades of green/blue (i.e. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/15248913735... or http://www.pinterest.com/pin/15248913735...
Also of note, logo fonts are txt longhand and gotham medium. Love the look of calligraphy, hand lettering and watercolor brush style lettering.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your icon or button design?
I'd really like to stick to the color sets provided previously. I think there is a broad range of options within white, blue, gold, coral, and/or green that there is enough room for creativity while still creating cohesion.
What adjectives should best describe your icon or button design?
Clean design highlighting a decidedly feminine, bohemian-style.
The slides need to be able to feature completed blogs/sites, template designs, shop announcements or marketing slicks.
The dev site is here: http://www.yespleasecreative.com/. The verbiage is being rewritten as we shift our business focus away from visual work and focusing on content. Please note, I hate the slide and button design (which is why I am crowdsourcing it). This will allow you to see the kind of work featured on a slide though.
What content must be included in the icon or button design?
buttons will read: h+h shop, messaging + content, custom blog + web design, emerson line (and/or emerson life unplanned)
