LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
FanDraft software (http://www.fandraft.com). I am the owner and developer of the software.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A redesign of the "Draft Board Presentation". Attached is an image of what it currently looks like. I want this redesigned to look a lot more contemporary.
The software essentially acts like presentation software. Users export this display to a large TV or digital projector, and a group of people (10-12) view it at a time. So having the data clear, large, and thus readable is essential.
The software simulates the experience of a real NFL draft. So the graphics should look like the sharp elegant graphics that are displayed when watching sporting events.
Below is the priority of space that should be given to the different data...This means that it is the order that users pay most attention to, so it should be the most easily readable, and given the most space (priority wise). There are also some interactive buttons/inputs that users click on to change what/how data is displayed, and allows users to search and select players.
The priority of the data is as such:
1: The DataGrid (the large table with the teams and players)
2. The Clock / Round & Pick #s
3. "On the Clock" (who is currently selecting)
4. Up-and-Coming Picks
6. The rest...
If you'd like to add optional interactive animations ideas (just suggestions, not add the actual animation) that would be great -- such as a slide in graphic that announces the last pick, and shortly disappears
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Fantasy Football participants. Sports and Television enthusiasts.
The software essentially acts like presentation software. Users export this display to a large TV or digital projector, and a group of people (10-12) view it at a time. So having the data clear, large, and thus readable is essential. It should be exciting, sharp, elegant, and modern (like watching sports on television). A real "high-def" experience.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Graphics displayed while watching a TV sporting event. Those sharp "hi-def" graphics you see on ESPN, etc. Attached is the sample of the current screen shot. A FREE demo of the software can be downloaded from http://www.fandraft.com/downloads.html
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
All of the elements available in the attached image file (including any button/icon components).
Designed for minimum 1024x768, but fluid resizing allows it to stretch to 1680x1050 and 1920x1200...Basically, should be designed for the 1024x768 so things don't get cut-off, but keep in mind that it can stretch larger for others
