The job deliverable is:
Two button shapes of 20 by 20 pixels each in 3 colors, for a total of 6 buttons.
a) Shapes: you suggest.
b) Here are the colors
#ECECEC = Light gray
#D9DEE5 = Light blue
#003248 = Dark blue
... and 6 (six) Icons to be inserted inside the buttons representing these actions ( ex. camera for photography, pen for writing, megaphone for threads etc. )
The Icons should evoke an image of these actions:
+ Invite other users to join TheBoaters.com
+ Contribute Forum Threads
+ Contribute Forums Posts
+ Contribute Pictures
+ Contribute Places ( map positions )
+ Interact with our Trivia Tool ( IQ ) , that reveal how knowledgeable a user is.
How we plan to use these buttons:
The six levels should be something like this
Level 1: Icon set with a light gray and inside a Shape 1 button
Level 2 Icon set with light blue and inside a Shape 1 button
Level 3 Icon set with a dark blue and inside a Shape 1 button
These are the 3 levels that can be described as part of the over all first level. The buttons belonging to the second level should clearly imply that they are more valuable than the first level. Example Level 1 - 3 are circles Level 4 - 6 are stars.
Level 4: Icon set with a light gray and inside a Shape 2 button
Level 5: Icon set with light blue and inside a Shape 2 button
Level 6: Icon set with a dark blue and inside a Shape 2 button
