We make tools for cleaning swimming pools: nets, brushes, poles, test kits, etc. Our products sell in both wholesale and retail markets, which means that professionals use them (usually men) as well as homeowners (families).

This needs to be geared at MEN, but with the idea that women will likely be buying for their husbands/sons. In other words, while women will often make the purchases, we need to convey a 'masculine/manly' message. Purchasing age groups will likely be between 28-60, nationwide. This is a sports/active outdoor product, so customers will be thinking about enjoying their swimming pool (whether it's for themselves, family members, friends, grandchildren, etc.).
1. This needs to be a masculine image, but believable to Mom (and occasionally Grandma). Another product line we make has 'tribal' designs, so something along those lines could be certainly work. In other words, we're leaning towards 'tribal', but 'tribal' is not entirely necessary).
2. Speed, efficiency, aggressive. We need to convey the idea that if there's something in your swimming pool- leaves, rocks, debris, coins, BB's, you name it- the Stingray net will get it out FAST and EASY!
3. Professional Quality. This product is not some cheapie pool toy; it's STRONG and EFFECTIVE. Retail customers want PROFESSIONAL tools for their pools, and they need to believe that they're getting a professional tool when they buy this. Moreover, many professionals will also use this tool, so it needs to be believable to the pros, too.
