I am a wealth management firm. However - everyone is in "wealth management" these days. To me, wealth management is like a puzzle with 6 sides. Cash Flow management, Wealth Protection, Estate Planning, Charitable Giving, Investment Management, Relationship management (keeping other advisors involved and up to date.) My expertise/designations are in Investment Management, but all sides of the puzzle need to be observed. One side of the puzzle changes and it affects the other sides.
I will accept a .com with an acceptable variation on the exact name
My ideal customer is not new to investments. They just realize things are a bit more complex and they either don't like handling this on their own, don't know how to do it, and just want results and live life and have someone else handle the details.
Expertise. Unique thinking - we don't just sell what a mouthpiece at a large institution tells us to sell. We are an independent firm. We also manage the process and are not a "one and done" transaction firm.
Locally - Wells Fargo Advisors. Carson Wealth Management, Executive Wealth Management - http://www.exec-wealth.com/
Thoughtfulness, taking time to think things through, follow through, relationship but not just about money or a client being a transaction/revenue stream.
I don't particularly like Wealth Management or Financial Planning. Too many people use this from life insurance people to someone who just started knocking on doors with Edward Jones.
Not that I can think of.
We own the name Coordinated Planning and Coordinated Financial Planning. They are ok, but aren't catchy and I had a friend tell me they sounded like a fertility clinic or family planning clinic.
