Creative brief

The buyer added updates to the brief. Read them.

What does your company do?

Teach computer programming, web design, app creation, video game design/mods to kids aged 7-17. Would like the name flexible enough to teach adults in the future. Our studio will be a place for kids to explore all of their interests in technology, may add photography, video editing, robotics in the near future.

Do you require that a .COM or other URL be available for the new name?

No, would rather have a great name. Would be nice to get a .net, .us or .la., I do need a website, just doesn't have to be .com.

What is your industry?

Education and Universities

Describe your customers

Customers are urban families who can afford to spend $200+ per month to send their kids to our after school program. Arguably, target audience is 30-50 yr old women since they tend to make these decisions for their family.

What 3 things do you want your company name to communicate to your customers?

2)Education or Learning or Building deep understanding

List the names of your top three competitors

Pixel Academy
U Code
Planet Bravo

What character, tenor, or spirit do you wish to convey?

We'll help you go wherever your imagination leads you, technology is powerful once we can harness it to serve our personal vision. Also, instead of just passively consuming things made by others, let's take control and build digital things! It's about creativity in the digital realm.

Are there specific words or phrases you do not like?

No, there aren't.

Are there specific words or phrases you like?

I like Geek but I'm concerned about whether some might think it has a negative connotation.

I like Studio or Lab, for example, Geek Lab or Geek Studio but I'm not married to it needing to be a studio or lab.

Do you have other info you want to share?

Good luck, thank you!

Please don't use the word Code in your submissions, it's too specific for what we'll be doing.

So many great submissions have narrowed my focus. We're not going to use geek or nerd in our title, thanks for the great work, keep it up!
