Ignatian Solidarity Network.
What does your company do?
The Ignatian Solidarity Network promotes leadership and advocacy among students, alumni, and other emerging leaders from Jesuit schools, parishes, and ministries by educating its members on social justice issues; by mobilizing a national network to address those issues; and by encouraging a life-long commitment to the service of faith and the promotion of justice.
In case someone is not familiar with the word Jesuit. It refers to a Catholic order of priests who founded 28 universities in the US and over 50 high schools in the U.S. They are considered great educators and very driven by social justice. Our organization works with the students and staff in those schools. We are named after the founder of the Jesuit, who name is St.Ignatius. Therefore we used the term Ignatian to refer to the Jesuit identity of the organization.
In terms of our programming, we convene thousands of students and staff each from these schools for national conferences on social justice topics - such as immigration reform, and climate change. Our goal is to both educate and develop leaders who will return to their campus better prepared to lead or initiate social justice work on campus.
Do you have an existing tagline or tagline(s) that you've previously used?
A phrase that is often used by the Jesuits is promoting a "faith that does justice." This is not ours but because we work with so many Jesuit schools it is a phrase that we often use with our constituency. It has alot of meaning for them and for us. But is over used and we need to find a tagline that represents our unique voice as an organization.
What is your industry?
We are a non-profit organization based in San Francisco. Our industry is in social change work, advocacy, and leadership development.
Describe your audience
We work largely with students (ages 17-22) who attend Jesuit universities and high schools. Our programs attract students who are interested in service and social justice. Many of these students identify as Catholic and want to see their Catholic faith lived out through the lens of social justice and service.
We also consider the staff in these various schools as part of our target audience. They are important ambassadors for us in terms of getting students to attend our programs.
What 3 things do you want your tagline to communicate to your audience?

2.We believe that young people who learn how to put their faith and values into action can transform the world.
