Quality, Expertise, Professionalism
New home buyers, a lot of time women ages 25-65, higher income. We sell to our city and the surrounding cities 150 miles out. We are not on line. We are not "budget." We sell quality top of the line blinds (Hunter Douglas).
Budget Blinds - cheaper blinds; does not sell Hunter Douglas, doesn't always answer his phone; people get frustrated with that.
They are a flooring covering and can sometimes undercut our bids; however, they refer bigger jobs to us as they do not have the expertise. They refer "shutter" jobs to us and sometimes motorization jobs to us.
Smaller company. Not sure if they'll survive COVID-19. Sell cheap blinds and Hunter Douglas

We do not want to be known as the "cheapest" place to get blinds. We actually do not sell "cheap" blinds. We sell the best Hunter Douglas and within Hunter Douglas there are less expensive and more expensive. These blinds tend to not need repairs as often as the cheaper blinds (think the lonely Maytag repair man). We are considered the motorization specialists on the Western Slope of Colorado. We also are the "shutter" specialists. We have a full team of highly-trained installers. Basically we want to sell our quality.
Creative should NOT use
I don't want to say we don't sell cheap blinds, but I do want to convey that we sell quality (if that makes sense). I love the play on words "blinds" "covered" There's a company called Gotcha Covered - that's clever.
All blind companies offer a free measure & quote service. This ensures the blinds fit first time and gives the sales rep an opportunity to assist the customer in ideas as to what will or won't work for their window coverings.
The tagline needs to work across residential and commercial customers
The business breakdown would be about 50% commercial and 50% residential.
The company trys to convey an image that is professional and knowledgeable. Would love all of your creative ideas.
