Creative Brief

Who are you?

The Reverb blog is owned by The Denver Post, but we want to give this site its own feel and identity independent of The Denver Post's more corporate, traditional web identity.

What do you need?

When you include our photo slideshows, the blog has been getting well more than 300,000 page views per month. Reverb bloggers are reporters and freelancers who have direct access to big-name musical artists and comedians as well as great Denver (and national) underground bands and DJs.

We need a design which matches their talent and youth, as well as serving as a portal to the best music out there. (The blog needs to represent a site reflecting an inside track to indie music as well as professional coverage of more commercial -- therefore, a balance between non-commerical vs. commerical.)

Who Is Your Audience?

18-35 year-olds primarily in the Denver area, but also some national readers.

We Absolutely Must Have

Search/RSS/social media functionality up top (right side likely), multiple front page photos/entry points (multiple content pages with video, photos, etc.)
