see more; I lead a non-profit Carers Support service in the UK, and am also involved with several other non-profit projects supporting various sectors of the community all affect by disability in one way or another. I realise the importance of a strong identity to help spread the word and where our tiny budgets can stretch to it I get a professionally designed logo developed. This place gives me the opportunity to do that in the best possible way, I am aware that some people don't like that as designers they often have to work for free, but as I work full-time for free I don't see this as a major issue - if you are a good designer you will get paid when your fantastic designs are picked, on the other hand I never get paid! cS gives us the opportunity to find a design for a budget we can manage, rather than pay a designer who doesn't deliver exactly what we want, we see this as a much better risk.
