see more; Howdy, I’m Cassie…I’m a freelance designer, working in the medias of print, web, and video. After finishing college in 1992, I worked my way up the print design ladder from production grunt worker to senior designer, then went to the University of Delaware for Computer Science and started working in web and interactive design, eventually becoming an Art Director that was still very hands on. I started out hand-coding in html back in 1996. Currently, most of the sites I build are in PHP, with hand-coded CSS, and some Flash elements. Working with a lot of open source widgets to give sites fuller functionality with elements like shopping carts, contact forms, and photo galleries. When I’m not creating for someone else, I paint pretty pictures. You can check out my fine art creations at www.lawnwalker.com. Lived all over the place from Philadelphia, PA, to London, England, even Los Angeles, CA. These days I’m back in my home state of Delaware where I live with my husband and son. We often sit around drinking tea and playing with wooden trains.
