The amount of time for submission was really short, and there had been delays in the awards results.

There are way too many exchanges required after the awards to actually get paid.

We should be able to see the other awardees via crowdspring after the results, at least everything besides the 3 first places.

I try not to have regrets after a project but this project I do have some. Probably because I have never designed cellphone before, and never done photoshop rendering either. Personally I like the idea. I think it is humanistic and warm. But the presentation of the product missed to show all ideas and was lacking skills. However I did truly learned a lot from this project.

I can't say I'm unsatisfied, because I won and have already received the prize money. Which is great and appreciated.

The constantly shifting deadlines was a little frustrating, but, again, I can't complain.

I'll comment according to the three rating categories.
Timing: Definitely a little unstable. I found out about this competition late. But I put in 110% of my energy to finish it within the 20hrs I had to make deadline. I spent sleeping time into the early morning to come and find. That the project has been extended a good 5 hours or so. I was really frustrated that I, and others have spent alot of work into the project to get it in on time. But the buyer decides to reopen the whole project and did not stick with deadlines.

Communication: my only criticism is that deadlines are communicated and should be punctual. But overall the "activity" wall was very helpful. Easy to navigate and a good way to let CS and Buyer to communicate and update all designers.

Satifaction: I am satisfied with the result. Ahah i got an honorable mention. Quite happy can't complain about that. I just wish things moved accordingly. But i've mention this already. Dont want to sound like a broken record.

Hope there are more of these kinds of competitions.

I really enjoyed this project because of the constraints on the project brief. Because the design was intended for 2~3 years into the future, I explored concepts that were fairly reasonable and somewhat realistic. I looked at the current available technology, and I looked at technology available from the LG so that the company can utilize their own resources. I also looked that what would make sense for mass production.

One thing I would've liked to Improve on my design is the styling. I participated in the contest fairly late and didn't have enough time to explore the concept in terms of aesthetics.

Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and can't wait for more!

Great competition and interesting choice of venue (crowdSpring). The only way this could've improved was by forgoing crowdSpring's terribly unreliable servers and database, as they kept crashing during the submission phase.

The timing and communication of the buyer were very good and prompt throughout the entire competition. Responses to questions were sent back in a matter of hours and were very helpful. The buyer was very quick in wrapping up the contest with informative emails of what the buyer needed, which were again very helpful.
