The PSD file attached includes the logo and general design. The auto parts noted as "schematic" may be more prominent on the card. Use "clear ink" to make good distinctions when possible. The contact details should be in SILVER FOIL. A template is included as well.

This project requires special requirements for the card design included in the documentation pdf.

Your designs should clearly understand the use of SILVER FOIL, CLEAR INK and follow the design rules for stationary that are included.

Brief updates

We really like the look of BLACK on top of the frosted card.

Also we've confirmed that the "Schematic" will be able to be printed, so do not use the gears! Try doing them in White on Black, Foil, Black on White, try using clear! The "Schematic" will likely be in the final design.

Here is a good example of black.

Also make sure you're using CLEAR INK too!

Current notes
*Stop using the tagline (The best part for the best price) I don't think it's smart or relevant to use on a business card. Especially if that changes over time.
*I mostly prefer designs that use the metallic silver foil for my name & contact details.

Things that I'm learning so far that I like.

1) The logo is predominant in the design.
2) Using clear ink for the inside of the logo and just a little bit outside.

Mistakes I'm noticing that will for sure not be used as a contenting design
1) No logo
2) Not using proper company colors for the logo
3) No clever use of frosting contrast with "clear"
4) Use of gears instead of the supplied schematic.

DON'T COUNT OUT PORTRAIT SUBMISSIONS! NOT ENOUGH HERE!

Starting to think it might go that way, to get the big logo we want!

I need to make sure I have time to find a printer to offer advise on designs.
